Japanese noodle expert Mizuho Nagao has been recruited as the newest expert chef at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park.
A Japanese national, Chef Mizuho was brought up in the coastal city of Fukuoka and got his first taste of the culinary world when he started working at his family’s Soba Sei Restaurant in 1994. This was no small family business however; Chef Mizuho’s father was one of the country’s top noodle chefs and even received an award as Japan’s Best Soba Chef from the Japanese government in 2005.
Having successfully received his own Japanese noodle cooking license in 2005, Chef Mizuho opened his own Soba Sei Restaurant at the Saga Tamaya Department Store in 2007. And now he is bringing his exquisite talents to guests at the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, ensuring the quality and authenticity of the hotel’s Soba Factory noodle house.
